Reporting from the Lower East Side, New York (my hometown)! I’ll be in the states for about a month, though today’s post has nothing to do with the Lower East Side, New York or even the United States.
On my way, I had a layover in Frankfurt, Germany. I had time to leave the airport and explore the city. There were a few old buildings left, but mostly it is new construction and seems to be an industrial town. Though, I did discover some great home furnishing stores on Berliner Straße. Here’s what I found while window shopping in Frankfurt.

Window Shopping in Frankfurt
Ah well, it looks like you’ve missed the real worthwhile parts of the town. The area around the central train station is not really representative or particularly recommendable (IMHO).
Frankfurt is actually Germany’s financial centre, and this long tradition even mirrors in the older buildings that were not bombed in the last war.
