I love the bizarre, the wild and the wacky. This Nautilus Shell House in Mexico City is all of the above… and people live here too!
Check out the original diorama, it looks like something straight out of Disneyland. This is actually a modified Nautilus shell, actual Nautilus’ do not have a point on the top but I guess they expanded the shell for more comfort!
Let’s take a look inside… from a shell dwellers perspective this is a pretty nice dig.
This bathroom is so cool… look at all those teeny tiny tiles. The entire house is constructed out of ferro cement, a product that can be molded into any shape imaginable.
