Tchochkes is the Yiddish word for “small things” and this post is in honor of “small unique Jewish things” AKA Judaica. Every once in a while I come across a few items that I can say I really like. Let’s start with this “Tree of Life Mezuzah” by Avi Biran.
Wearing a price tag of $120.00 per mezuzah, these fall into the category of something very special. A decorative mezuzah is a reflection of the home and it’s inhabitants.

These “Clown Groggers” by Agayof were a first for me. They are cool but the asking price is $250.00… pretty steep for a Purim toy wouldn’t you say?
I can see springing for this silk embroidered “Tree of Life” matzoh cover by Dawn Kikel, $99.00. It is attractive enough to keep on display all the time.
* this one is not a tchochke
Arel Mishory’s creations are fanciful and fun. How about dressing up a dark corner with this “Hello House” clock, $95.00.
* keeping Tchochkes true to it’s name with the small Jewish stuff.
