I came across these sofas from Milano bedding that are quite expensive and I think pretty darn ugly. This company not only boasts style but also ultimate comfort. I searched and searched for the comfort aspect on their website and I could not come up with anything to show. The price tags starting at 9,000 and up to 40,000 NIS are not in the bargain shopper range to say the least. I even think that IKEA has some comprable sofas for half the price.
Ouch, this sofa looks sooo uncomfortable. I would not last long sitting here.
It looks like they left the down comforter on the sofa… Where is the style here?
Oh, that’s where I left my yellow sleeping bag!
This sofa had possibilities but I think you can find a similar one at IKEA.
I almost thought this one was nice but then I noticed that they forgot to iron the skirt. The crinkle thing just does not work for me.
Not only is the couch boring and uncomfortable looking, the room setting is horrible. Are those square covered in the same fabric as the couch, yikes!
The ugly sofa
I agree that most of these are ugly but be wary of reccomending Ikea sofas instead. We have one of their more expensive leather sofas; it looks great but after only 2 years usage some of the seams are coming apart!
If they are only 2 years old you can return them for an exchange. I think their sofas have a 5 or 10 year warranty (but don’t quote me on that…)
I am also suprised to hear that after only two years the seems are coming apart. I have a friend that has been working for IKEA for over 20 years and I know for a fact that a few years ago they did a quality upgrade on all of their sofas.
You should definately look into the warranty on your sofa.
I personally prefer than a sofa seating area, today there are sort of things that can combine both the yard
This is funny because I have been looking for a sofa and don’t like most of the ones I’ve seen.
The second and last sofa look itchy.
I have a “thing” about itchy sofas and textured fabrics, from having to sit on such things as a child.
Itchy fabrics and textures that get imprinted on your legs, do not work well in warm climates where sitters wear short pants skirts.
Itchy fabrics and textures don’t work well anywhere, warm climate or cool. I was a textile designer for 15 years and one of my jobs was to develop new fabric qualities, if a new quality had even the slightest hint of being uncomfortable it was out of the line up.
It took me two years to find a sofa I liked… I suggest really taking the time to search and sit. If it is a sleeper sofa, it is important to pull out the bed and lay on it for a while in the store (as long as you can). This is a purchase that you are going to live with for a while so you want to be satisfied.
Thanks for the tips on Ikea warranty. I have called tham and they are sending an upholsterer to evaluate and fix the damage. I don’t think i can exchange this one for a new one, but I don’t need to if they fix it properly. Thanks again – wouldn’t have dug up that warrenty without your comments.
