While going through the site to find out where I complain about no pictures in the Currents slide show for this weeks Thursday Styles I found an area about licensing photos and text. I do my best to be an honest person and so I called the number to find out how to get permission for the photos I’ve been posting from the nytimes.com.
This site is a labor of love for me (at the moment) so you could imagine my reaction when I read $150 per picture for licensing for one year.
People – I love you, but not that much. I’ve deleted the posts with pics from the nytimes and will not be grabbing from them again.
