A few years back Caesarstone became a popular choice for kitchens and bathrooms as a clean, modern option for the standard stone countertop. This quartz based material is one of the most durable natural materials consisting of 93% crushed quartz bonded with polymer resin and pigments for added color.
I love the idea of using this product in a snazzy, bright color like the red shown below, what a great way to jazz up an office.
And I am sure that every designer has seen this soft edged counter top.
Another great option under the Caesarstone umbrella is Concetto, a cut semi-precious stone product that is pretty spectacular. They have combined the natural beauty of stone and energy to create a unique home product.

What really caught my eye was this patterned version of Caesarstone referred to as Motivo. Sand blasted with texture to give an embossed look, Motivo may be the next best thing for the caesarstone shopper.
Caesarstone, what every designer should know.

Hmm… I read blogs on a similar topic, but i never visited your blog. I added it to favorites and i’ll be your constant reader.
While I was browsing through the internet looking for some architecture related blogs I suddenly came accross your post. Actually I found it very informative. I would like to particularly mention the section where you have talked about a stone material namely “Caesarstone” which is usually used as a countertop. I’m really impressed. They are indeed very beautiful. However I wonder how long they will last.I think they are extreamly sophisticated and may break or get get damaged far too easily.
Overall its a very nice blog post.Keep up the good work.

I have heard that this product holds up to its claim. The only adverse coment that I have repeatdly come across is that Caesarstone countertops have a tendancy to stain when challenged with hot or deeply colored liquid (for example beets). The positive note to this is that the company stands behind their product and has been known to rectify and damages when possibleto do so.
