Boaz is a tutor for Probability and Corporate Finance in the Kellogg-Recanati program. He’s also personable, adorable and an absolutely amazing guy. Shachar, his partner, is equally fabulous. I ran into them a while back at a wine bar and asked if I could come and take pictures of their flat. I can tell you it wasn’t quite what I expected.
Actually, part of the reason was to write about Boaz’s incredibly sweet partner Shachar is because he is trying to start his own personal shopping and fashion styling business – but I have torn apart my entire house and can’t find his card. So if you need a personal shopper or help styling for an event – email me.
These were done by Shachar. I love their campy kitsch appeal.
I would change two things about the made with love office art:
- I would only hang 5 – in decor odd numbers rule (no clue why – ask Patti)
- Space them a bit wider and hang straighter
This is a great example of how something doesn’t have to be grand to do the job. The space is warm and every time Boaz sits there he gets to look at art made for him.
Cozy details are everywhere here.
Note the cow on the floor – Shachar has a thing for cows. He has this amazing kitsch ceramic cow on their kitchen table but the picture didn’t turn out. What a pity as well, it had sequins, beads, and crystals!
The footstool is great, loving the ethnic fabric. Sofas – not a shape I love, tad too European style for my taste. The leather carpet is cool – not for households with children (obviously).
Sweet little details were everywhere.
