Brazilian furniture has both color and character, I was thrilled to find that Pau-Brazil is located here in Herzliya Pituach. One of the common characteristics of Brazilian furniture is its rough hew-en surface, the hand carved appearance highlights it’s cultural background.
Brightly painted furniture is great if you want to integrate a few “Folk” accents into your decor. This painted side board has local village flair. Below is an in-store floor display, I would not necessarily use all of this stuff together in the same room but I do think they work individually as room accents.
Not all the furniture from this collection is brightly colored, there are also some subdued pieces like this dining table and chairs. I would mix the chairs from above with this table to create an eclectic theme.
Pau-Brazil is a great store full of home furnishings and accessories from Brazil, it is definitely worth a visit.
Store review: Pau-Brazil
Are the expensive?
I love the last table and thier accessories.
I think their prices are competitive, but you would have to inquire with them via the web or a visit to the store for exact price quotes. I don’t like to quote prices as they are subject to change due to market circumstances.
I recently went to a favorite wine store of mine looking for “Sancerre” a delecious whte wine from France. The prices were outrageous and I was told that due to the weak dollar and the strong Euro the price of Sancerre had soared… Different product, same world!
