If you’re like me and colour is your passion then you’ll immediately fall in love with this home furnishings manufacturer. I just peeked into their store in Portland, Maine and was mesmerized by their colours, look and feel. Then I found them on the web as well.
This incredible rug is called Birds of a Feather and was inspired by the Museum of International Folk Art, Santa Fe. If you look carefully you will see other animals as well – a tree of life. Sapphire Blue, Chili Red and Sunshine Yellow are just a few of their vibrant colours. On their site you can even zoom in to see the quality rug hooking detail.
Here are some example of their accessories.
This Indigo pillow is chain stitched and 100% cotton with wool embroidery. I really like the balance of colours as well as the subdued relaxed look.
And this Ocean blue pillow is 100% linen. It definitely conjures up images of beaches and umbrellas.
They will give you examples of how to match the pillow to a rug and bedding to what they call a complete look.
And here is another complete look:
I don’t necessarily agree with all their combinations. The rug here is a over the top.
These are not inexpensive but definitely quality workmanship and products.
I like these cornflower acrylic throws. You can almost feel how soft they are.
And now the complete look:
They also carry sofas, love seats and sectionals.
I particularly liked this love seat. It comes in an array of fabrics and colours. I like its clean lines yet curved arms and supportive back. It looks comfortable. The foam cushions are eco-friendly and it’s made in the U.S.A. Maybe it was the name that first attracted me to it having just been to the city.
Company C has quality products as well as social responsibility for ethical and environmental practices. I like that.
