Good ideas don’t always ship to Israel, like these individual step carpets from Liza Phillips. What a great way to add a little color, protect the steps surface and with safety in tow. I really hate runners, especially the ones that you see attached right to steps. A lot of homes here have marble steps but some do have wood , here is where this idea comes in handy.
These carpets are custom made and can be interchanged sequentially. Why not find rug remnants and use them in the same manor as shown here. If you go to a rug supplier they may even be able to bind the edges for you. Rug remnants may not be “hand dyed and knotted in Nepal” but they can be functional and add a touch of design along with a DIY price tag.
