I can’t decide if I like this product or not. On one hand the concept of “Organic office furniture” sounds so environmentally friendly that it makes me smile. On the other hand this particular furniture looks a little cheesy.
Something about the sloping design makes this stuff look like it is going to topple over. The cool part about it is that it is easy to assemble, you don’t need an “L” wrench like you do for IKEA furniture. And a little bird told me that it’s “cheap, cheap, cheap”. Abundant Earth offers a 36″ inch desk for $279.00 and a 60″ desk for $428.00, now you really can’t beat that. Unfortunately they don’t ship internationally but if they did would you buy this product?
Organic bamboo office furniture

I have to disagree, I think the furniture looks very classy, not cheesey in anyway. Good luck making a decision on a purchase.
I have to say I’m with Patti on this one. I’m all for organic and sustainable – but I’m so not for ugly and cheap looking.
I agree about the idea, I think it’s great to make furniture out of organic materials that are sustainable and also about the design. Just because it’s green, doesn’t mean it has to be “not pretty” (to be kind).
I personally love bamboo. Have you ever seen bamboo flooring? Nicer than realy hard wood in my opinion. Harder too. Doesn’t mark as easily if you get the good stuff. This furniture, is what it is and you should compare it to what it is a $300 desk. Find a better $300 desk if you can, if not this ones fine in my opinion.
oh sigh. it’s hideous.
