This morning I visited Cabasso Lighting in Jerusalem. I saw some new trends emerging in the technical and aesthetic aspect of lighting. When it comes to light sources, halogen and incandescent lighting seems to be being phased out in favor of the more energy efficient fluorescent bulbs.
Different materials are being used, like this fixture made out of porcelain:
