If you look closely you can see the spiral inside the glass cover. I like the esthetic of this new design but I continue to wrestle with the quality of the energy saving bulbs. I find that these bulbs maintain the fluorescent light characteristic, something that drives me insane.
*This 15-watt bulb lasts about 5 years and can be found in ACE Hardware stores throughout the USA. I have not seen it here yet, but I am sure that it’s on it’s way!
