My practice as a Feng Shui consultant often brings me to the great challenge of “how to hide that darn T.V”. Most people have the television openly displayed in whichever room it lives in. Over and over, like a broken record; I recommend that the television be stored away in a decorative cabinet like the one from The martha Stewart with Bernhardt collection shown above.
I am from a town in upstate New York that goes by the name of Katonah. This line of furniture, known as “Katonah” is one of Martha’s latest creations based on her most recent abode which is in fact in the town of katonah… I guess she did get away with naming the furniture line after my town after all!
* This cabinet is being billed as an office solution, but the inside can also be reconfigured for use as a T.V. cabinet.
While I love the red zen-like cabinet shown here, I dislike the rest of the Katonah line. Click on the link above to see it in full, I’d love to hear what you think!
Furniture from home, really.

The red colored theme enticed my eyes but the cloud effect seem to contrast it which is a good thing design wise.
Initally, I chose it for it’s function but I also like the color. I have seen even nicer Oriental themed pieces and can see adding a touch of this design style to roms that are sparsly furnished to give them a bit of zip.
