[This contest has now ended.]
Christmas is now over and the New Year is here. It’s time to reorganize and get things sorted. To celebrate the ending of the holidays and the ending of quite frankly a rather meh year for many, we here at Tchochkes thought it would be great to begin 2010 with a stunning Sterling Pear giveaway.
One of the owners of Sterling Pear, Janet Hayden, is someone I grew up with in Huntington Beach, CA. and she’s one of the nicest, most positive women you’ll ever meet. Seriously. So nice, that she’s willing to give readers of Tchochkes a discount of 15% off your entire order on www.SterlingPear.com by using the coupon code “TCHOCHKES10” at checkout by January 31, 2010 in addition to this months raffle contest.
Contest Details:
Win a Sterling Pear Keepsake Chest – which can be used for storing anything you consider precious (such as your baby’s first shoes or your Star Trek figure collection). The contest ends on January 4th, 2010 and is good for US residents only. (UNLESS – you are madly in love with the chest. Shipment outside of the U.S. will be the responsibility of the winner. ie Sterling Pear can take your FedEX, UPS account # and ship it to you – the chest will be free, shipping no. And yes, I know this isn’t great for all of our international readers – but there will be more contests – we promise!)
There’s more: Be sure to add your contact email. Contest open to US residents ages 18 and over. Winner will be announced on a blog post. If winner fails to respond in three days a new winner will be chosen. Winner will be chosen at random by Sterling Pear.
The winner gets the chest – not the tchochkes inside. That’s for you to fill.
How to Enter:
There are several ways to enter this raffle and each will get you one “ticket”:

hello,
i’d love to win this chest because
i need a place to keep my tchochkes.
i’m not much of a decorator yet, but this would be a nice place to start
My son’s baby things are all over the place. I need this box.
I have been looking at similar items for a while. I have some items that are very precious to me and need this type of storage. What I love about this is that it could easily be out in the open as a beautiful accent piece and my treasures would be easily accessible.

I would love to win this chest because it would be a wonderful place to store my Christmas ornaments and decorations. My husband and I just bought our new home, and we now have our very first tree togeher! The only problem is that without a good storage solution, I won’t have any place to store all of the lovely Christmas treasure that I’ve always dreamed of collecting to display in my very own home. Please help me find a place to keep such items so that I can turn our little place into a Winter Wonderland each December!
(using my US address for this one)
I would love to win this – besides being a wonderful place to keep, well, keepsakes, it would also be a FABULOUS photo prop!
my wife will love this!!
This is a fantastic and beautiful way to store your holiday decorations! Much nicer than a plastic container!
(Sing to Jingle Bells chorus)

Boxes are so great!
Oh! To win this ornament box
I think I would faint!
Sterling Pear, Sterling Pear
Listen to my plea.
I fear my husband won’t agree
Unless I get it free!
I have one of these chests and it is truly wonderful. I keep some of my most treasured Christmas ornaments in it; the problem is I have have WAY more precious ornaments than will fit in one box! I really need another box to protect more of my ornaments, and it will look perfect in my library on top of the other chest!
I have so many keepsakes from 37 yrs of marriage & we’ve had so many wild fires in So Ca. in the past years I need to put everything in one GREAT box that can be ready to GO @ any time …

Actually, I’ve recently been feverishly buying up silver and gold coins and have been trying to find a place to store them all. This would be absolutely perfect, given the quantity I currently have.
Additionally, I’d also keep a few of our family’s Italian games in it, such as our Bocce Ball set and our Gimmie Five board game 😀

I think that this chest is very pretty and think that it would be a lovely way to safely keep the treasures i have from my grandma:)
I have a collection of assorted antique glassware that is not for everyday use, would love a special box like this to store it in.
My 3-year-old and 6-year-old girls love to make me things, and this would be the perfect storage container that would show how much appreciate all of the things they have made. I’m sure they will enjoy looking through it when they get older and can appreciate how far they’ve come and how their skills have improved through the years.
I would love to win to keep all our wedding stuff in that will be taking place in the summer.
I would love to win this to hold all of my own items from when I was a baby – as well as some of the items that I would like to keep for my own children some day.
I tweeted ashbug622 @Tchochkes: Win a Sterling Pear Keepsake Chest until January 4th, 2010 http://bit.ly/55Kbmo

I would like this chest because I have several pieces from my great grandmother and great great aunts, along with things from my children when they were babies that I would like to be able to keep in a safe place that is still easy to get to when I want to take them out and look at them. This would be amazing to win!

Incredible giveaway! I would use this to store keepsakes that belong to my baby girl, and to other children we may be having in the future. For now, though, I would also put precious wedding mementos inside.
Although I would love this for myself. I would love to have this to give to my mother. She works hard and is good at misplacing her jewelry, watches and keys. This would be perfect.

I’d like to win this because as I looked at all of the clutter around my house, I realized that as my boys are getting older, I need somewhere to stash their baby stuff (blankets, baby toys, baby room decor, etc). This chest would be perfect for storing all of their baby “memory” type stuff. Thanks for the giveaway!
This is a wonderful giveaway! I would love to be able to store my important stuff in this chest! It’s beautiful!

I’d love this so I can keep my resolution to get organized!
What a coincidence Sterling Pear – my sister ordered an ornament organizer box from them last year. I helped her trim her tree this year and got to see it. Wow – it sure beats my plastic tote!
I would love to win it not only for it’s sheer aesthetic value, I mean you could fill it and then add it as a decorative piece around your home. My favorite – practical beauty.
Plus I mean come on – how nice would it be to have my sister over to see MY Sterling Pear!!

This Keepsake box is indeed gorgeous, and I would love to have it for my granddaughter. She is a creative and multi-talented young lady with a wide range of interests and a HUGE collection of treasures, from her own art projects and needlework to rocks, jewelry, figurines, and tiny containers of fairy dust she’s acquired over the years. If she has a special, safe place for keeping these memories, she can have them forever.

This box would be wonderful to keep the special memories of my mother and the christening outfits of my children. Right now they are in a cedar chest that will soon be going to my daughter leaving me with no special place for these valued possessions. The chest will be a secure place to keep the old and also newly collected treasures.
