Parking in the Gan Haear, Tel Aviv
There’s something going on with the public parking in Tel Aviv…
The new color coded public parking garage in the Gan haear is a welcomed site. What was once a drab, dark, uninteresting parking garage has become a bright, artistic site.
Each floor is decorated in three color motifs that differentiate them from one another. I went on to discover all the new paintings even though I found space on Minus 2!
Here’s minus 1
and minus 2
Coordinating signage
the back space in minus 2 was painted with the same motif in a different color combination.
Along with the columns, the floors are color coded too. Color can be used in all sorts of creative ways as shown here, no chance of forgetting where you parked in this garage!
Around town: Color coded parking
I really like the idea of having different designs on the pillars in the carpark. Most multi-level carparks are so boring these days. Thanks for posting the idea.
I couldn’t agree with you more. The two lots that I featured here are wonderful and have such a postive underground feel. It really does make it much easier to remember where you parked the car!
